I am a current third-year law student at New York University focusing on energy, natural resources, and administrative law. I am a graduate of Mount Holyoke College where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Education and in Sociology. Before my senior year of college I traveled in central Brazil studying sustainable agriculture and Portuguese. I have significant classroom teaching experience; I hold an elementary education teaching license in Massachusetts. I have worked with students from pre-school through sixth grade as a student and lead teacher and have tutored at the middle school and high school level. Additionally, I have significant essay drafting, editing, and research experience. I am a published academic author in the Alaska Law Review, and during my second year of law school I was a staff editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. I am particularly passionate about elementary school math and science and about literature. I absolutely believe that learning can, and should be, enjoyable and that the key to success is effort and dedication. I am an avid reader and encourage my students to be as well. In my free time, I love to bake and hike.
