I graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC in January 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with minors in Communications and Math. I am currently in graduate school at Smith College working towards a Master's Degree in Social Work. This program has allowed me to live in two different cities since graduation- Philadelphia and San Francisco- while also doing work that I love. I have been passionate about education throughout my own school years, and have been tutoring, teaching, and mentoring middle school students since I was a freshman in college. While I tutor a variety of subjects, including test preparation, I have a secret love for math. For me, working with students towards that "ah-ha" moment of solving a problem or understanding a formula is both fun and rewarding. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge of psychology and discussing complex concepts with students. Outside of academia, I am an adventurer in many ways; I spend my time running, biking, hiking, swimming, reading, and cooking.
