I am currently working towards my B.S. in Criminal Justice. After attending Northeastern University, I decided moving back home and finishing at the University in California, my home state, would be a wiser decision financially. I plan to finish my Bachelor's here.
Upon graduation, I plan to join the United States Marine Corps as an officer and obtain my Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
In my spare time, I personally train university students looking to establish a workout routine for the first times in their lives and members of the American military who desire to take their fitness a level further. I have also been tasked in my family to teach and accompany my sister diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome. Having these two responsibilities have molded me into a teacher and a leader while providing me the experience to work with people from all types of backgrounds.
I currently tutor the Writing and Critical Reading portions of the SAT, essay composition, essay editing, writing, and English.
Personally, I most enjoy teaching essay editing and essay composition -- excellent writing seep over into the very foundations that compose critical thinking, marketing, communication and all other aspects in today's digitized and globalizing world. Excellent writing serves as the bedrock for success, in whatever form it may take, and I want to help my students achieve that as quickly and as soundly as possibly.
Though I am an easygoing person, I emphasize hard work and discipline. However, I also acknowledge the incomparable benefits of realizing a student's strengths and maintaining his/her positive attitude.
I enjoy the great outdoors, Vipassana meditation, competitive powerlifting, Judo, journaling, and volunteer work with tangible results.
