I am a graduate of the University of California, Davis. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Film Studies, and English with a focus on creative writing. I have worked as a Writing Tutor for UC Davis in the Student Academic Success Center, interacting with students from various backgrounds and levels, helping them develop and strengthen their writing skills . Among the people I worked with were foreign exchange students, graduate students, school athletes, and special education students as well as the average undergraduate. The diversity of people I had the privilege to interact with made my job especially gratifying, and it was always a pleasure discussing and brainstorming ways with the students on how to better their essays. I believe that all education should be pleasurable and non-threatening and I strive to make my students as comfortable as possible not only to help them learn their subjects but to inject in them a joy if not tolerance of education. I am most passionate about any subject that involves the English language be it reading or writing as I not only studied the subject but am trying to pursue a career as a novelist or screenwriter. My hobbies include hiking, soccer, taking care of my two pups, films, and of course reading.
