I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (’13), where I received my Bachelor of Arts in the Biological Basis of Behavior. I am currently applying to medical school and hope to pursue a career in academic medicine in the field of neuroscience. Throughout college, I actively tutored and mentored high school and college students in the sciences, ranging from basic biology to experimental organic chemistry. I view knowledge as extremely empowering, and I find great joy in helping students see the value in learning—even if they may deem a subject irrelevant to their lives! Additionally, I enjoy a relaxed tutoring atmosphere, where students can feel comfortable taking intellectual risks and making mistakes from which we can ultimately learn. In my free time, I enjoy pick-up soccer, live music, and travel.
