I am a student at the California State Polytechnic University of Pomona. I am currently working toward receiving my Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology. I have worked with tutoring elementary students during my senior year in high school. Also, while taking my undergraduate courses at Cal Poly Pomona, I held study group sessions to help guide classmates through the material required for exams. Through experience, I learned that students have different learning styles. My background in working with students allows me to adapt accordingly to the needs of each individual in order to reach their learning goals. I currently tutor Math and Spanish and am passionate about both subjects. Education is a powerful tool, and I believe it should be made to be fun and interactive. This way it can easily capture the attention of the scholars and allow for better learning. I enjoy finding ways to break down the most complex problems and easily communicate them to students while offering simple and elegant solutions. There is no greater feeling than to see a student understand the material. Being able to impart knowledge and make a difference gives a tremendously satisfying feeling. In my spare time I enjoy learning more about the advancements in technology particularly renewable energy, the sport of basketball, and enjoy volunteering in services to better the community.
