I am a graduate of Rutgers University of New Jersey, holding a Bachelor's of Science degree in Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics. At Rutgers, I was employed by the Math department for two years as a Peer Mentor, where I assisted in teaching a Calculus 1 class. I worked one-on-one with students to guide creative problem solving methods and help develop critical thinking skills. Additionally, I have tutored a number of students in high school Physics, always emphasizing conceptual understanding. While my own area of studies is in Physics and Astronomy, my favorite subject to tutor is Math. A strong Mathematical background is essential in today's world and I feel its importance is often overlooked. I believe in lifelong education and learning. I plan to attend graduate school in the upcoming years. Aside from academic pursuits, I enjoy hiking, inline skating, photography, videography, biking, and hockey.
