Studying the human body has been my passion since AP Biology in my junior year of high school. During those lectures, I fell in love with anatomy, from the smallest cell processes to the fascinating mechanics of healing and breathing. The class encouraged me to attend nursing school, and at Boston College I continued to learn.
Also in high school, I took my love of anatomy further by incorporating technical diagrams into my AP Studio Art portfolio. Drawings of bones, kidneys and the heart combined both my passions for science and art. Today, I am a graduate student at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. I still have a love for both science and art, and hope to keep both active in my life!
