I am an Electrical Engineering student at UW, graduating in December 2014. I have a lot of experience helping others with math, science, and physics; but I also enjoy social studies, history, and writing. I work for an automation company building machines and robots that are used in aircraft assembly.
My style is based around a fundamental understanding of the concepts, especially when tutoring math and science. Pushing numbers around may be enough to get the right answer, but if a student isn't fully aware of what the calculations actually mean retention is low. Therefore, I try to ensure that students comprehend the physical implications of the math before formulas and calculations are discussed.
