I am a graduate of Stanford University (BA), Sacramento State University (MA) and the University of California Davis (Ph.D.). While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Economics, Writing, and teaching youth how to break through barriers to learning. As the former Assistant Superintendent of a large metropolitan school district, I am very aware of the tools, strategies, and techniques needed to master a variety of subjects and the learning tools that will facilitate learning and the acquisition of new skills. I am a terrific motivator working with K-12 and college students who wish to improve their performance. My students tell me they like the way I break complex things down into bite-sized components and then build on that foundation moving them from where they are to where they prefer to be. Education is a wonderful key to success and the construction of a financially secure future. Though my degrees are in Economics, International Affairs, and Educational Economics, I have a strong command of other K-12 subjects and college coursework.
