I am a recent graduate of the University of California - Los Angeles. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Throughout college, I helped tutor a variety of students in science classes I had previously taken. I enjoy being able to help others learn and passing on what I know to others. Students in the past have always thanked me for being patient with them and explaining concepts in multiple ways until they understood. I will do my best to ensure that the students I teach are well prepared for their exams. One of my beliefs is that when it comes to test taking, confidence is half the battle and I continuously remind my students about that so they won't second guess themselves during an exam. Moreover, I like to focus on helping students understand concepts and principles rather than just memorizing various facts.
I spend my free time playing soccer and doing other sport related activities. I also love cooking and learning new ways to make food. Currently, I am in the process of applying to medical school and would gladly give advice on what it's like and how to prepare for application season.
I look forward to working together with you!
