I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a degree in physics (and took almost enough math to receive a degree in that as well). I've been tutoring on and off since high school and have always enjoyed helping others to understand new concepts. Though certainly challenging concepts, I believe that math and physics can always be broken up into simple, intuitive terms. It is my job then, to impart on students the techniques and vision necessary to both break down a concept into its most basic terms as well as construct these terms into something far more complex. Before moving to Sacramento I was researching the properties of nanomagnets which combined copious amounts of theory, design, experimentation, and data analysis. In my spare time I enjoy adventuring, travel, cooking, writing, and cartoons.
