I graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International and Global Studies with a focus in Geography and Spanish. I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and also spent a summer in Santiago, Chile working for an education non-profit. I love to travel so I’ve spent much of my time exploring Europe, South and Central America. After graduating, I moved to San Francisco where I currently work in the Development Unit of a public health non-profit. While I tutor a variety of subjects, my favorite subjects to tutor are math (all levels), Spanish and Italian. I have a passion for languages and math is exciting since it is the universal language between all people! I have worked with both peers and students to help them improve their skills in these subjects and I love when a student realizes the “AHA” moment in a tricky subject. When tutoring, I want students to be able to realize that school can be fun and interesting instead of scary and boring. I enjoy watching students’ progress and improve their skills to become successful both inside and outside of the classroom. Outside of tutoring, I am an avid traveler, skier (for fun, as an instructor and a ski patroller), hiker and outdoor enthusiast. I also enjoy cooking and reading for pleasure.
