I am a graduate of The University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. I went on to earn my J.D. from Berkeley Law. I currently practice civil litigation here in Sacramento.
I love tutoring because it works - especially with standardized tests like the LSAT. Everyone benefits from guided practice, and I love to help students figure out how and where to focus their efforts. I want to help students prepare, so they know what types of questions are coming on the test, recognize the different types of questions when they see them, and are confident that they have the right approach to those questions.
Economics was my first academic love, and I am very enthusiastic about teaching students about the principles of micro and macroeconomics.
I also enjoy helping students create a study methodology for their academic semester. I am particularly enthusiastic about helping new law students figure out how to spend their precious time and focus, and understand what truly matters when it is time for final exams.
My interests include science fiction and fantasy literature, Tar Heel sports, Blues, and Eastern Carolina Barbeque.
