I am a graduate of University of California, Davis. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and aspire to a higher level of education. I have been tutoring students since I was in high school and would help my classmates who struggled grasping the material given to them. By showing them a different way of viewing the concepts, I was able to help them overcome their obstacles. I continued tutoring students at college level, specifically in Math classes. After every Math class I took, I signed up to be a tutor for it the next time around. While in college, I tutored Algebra through Calculus. Apart from working for the school, I also worked with other tutoring companies. Math has been the one field that I have put a lot of focus on because I simply love it, and I love to show students with Math phobias that, if taught in the right way, Math isn't so hard after all.
Outside of my passion for tutoring, I also love spending time with my family and friends. I love running, and doing all sorts of physical exercises. But the one thing I love the most is helping under privileged individuals like the homeless. Every Sunday evening my friends and I make sandwiches, go to downtown Sacramento and distribute food, water, blankets, socks, etc for the people that need them the most. I also love mentoring young adults who are trying to find their place in this world, and I volunteer with my local church as needed.
