I am a graduate of SUNY Geneseo. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biomathematics. Currently, I am working towards my Masters of Science in Biotechnology of Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences at St. John's University. My lab instructing and tutoring experiences have taught me to fully grasp an understanding of each student's goals, and to work with them to excel above and beyond their own expectations. In my experience, it has been apparent that not all students have the same personality or interests, but success is typically achieved by working together to shape a curriculum specific to his or her character. In order to achieve a productive relationship with my students, I believe that the education process requires a balance of hard work, organization, and fun. This dynamic ratio ensures a low-stress, yet valuable learning environment for both the students and myself. Personally, my educational experiences have been coupled with drawing, biking, and participation in NCAA division III women's lacrosse. Being active on a physical basis has definitely created a durable foundation for my education.
