I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2013 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies with an emphasis on Greek and Latin Languages. Since finishing school, I participated in MASA Israel Corps, an English-teaching and volunteering program in northern Israel. For eight months I taught and tutored English at the high school in Kiryat Shmona, preparing 10th-12th graders for their final 'Bagrut' examinations. Though I taught primarily at the high school, I also taught at the regional elderly center as a teaching assistant. Participating in this past program pushed me to realize how I truly love teaching and wish to pursue this as a career. I plan on pursuing my Masters degree next year. Given my love of languages, I specialize in tutoring all levels of Latin, though I’ve also studied Ancient Greek, Hebrew, and a bit of Spanish. For fun, I love running, reading, medicine, history, politics, and I’m an avid fan of rock music.
