I'm 20 years old, born and raised in San Diego, attend college at the University of Denver, and have a passion for math and physics. I am attaining a bachelors degree in physics and mathematics, with a minor in mechanical engineering.

I believe that everyone should have that teacher that really shows them why what they're studying is awesome. I hope to accomplish this with all the students I tutor. While I teach the basic concepts and go over practice problems, I aim to try to get the student looking at the problems in new and interesting ways, and explain to them the importance of each topic. By changing the way they think about the problem on the page, you can often spark a new found interest in the subject. Once the interest is there, success will follow.

I have experience tutoring kids of a wide age range, starting from children in 1st grade all the way to college freshmen. My experience is mostly with math, originally teaching basic arithmetic to young, underprivileged children in an after-school program at the Bayside Community Center in San Deigo, and continuing on to being an active member of the Math & Science tutoring center at my university, helping students in introductory calculus.

In my free time, when I'm not watching nerdy math and physics videos on youtube, I often play video games with my friends. I also follow the NFL season with my roommates in fantasy football league, and go longboarding around my campus and to the park.
