I offer experience working with a diverse student population, dedication, and a talent for inspiring my students to achieve academic excellence. As indicated by my resume, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from St. Joseph’s College as well as a Master's degree from Stony Brook University and am certified to teach Secondary Spanish in New York State.
I bring a passion for teaching/tutoring any subject in which one is willing to learn. This includes Spanish, Math, Reading, and any other subject in which I can be of help. I believe that my enthusiasm for teaching/tutoring is contagious and that I have been successful in involving my students in an energized learning process. By combining this with a multi-disciplinary, student-centered approach, I am able to maintain my students' interest and participation in the academic process, creating a lifelong love for learning.
Outside of teaching/tutoring, I love reading, listening to all types of music as well as singing and dancing. I also enjoy watching movies of all genres. And often times, I'm taking my niece and nephew to the parks or the beach, or other recreational indulgences.
