I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, Athens and recieved my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduating, I traveled to Washington, DC to work in the White House National AIDS Policy Office and also for a number of political consulting firms. Upon my return to California, I earned my JD and developed a keen interest in child advocacy while a fellow at the Whittier Law School Center for Children's Rights. I was also lucky enough to tutor in my spare time and gain immense satisfaction helping my students reach their educational goals. I tutor a wide range of subjects, including reading, critical reading, writing, creative writing, essay support, math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, and others. Lately, I've gained the most satifaction tutoring Algebra 1 and math because of the noticable turn-around I see in just a short period of time. I take great pride in all of my students' progress and work dilligently to maximize their educational goals. In my spare time, I am an avid trail runner and was a member of the Silicon Valley Triathlon Club (formerly TRIbe) for three years. I am also a huge science fiction reader and a film fanatic.
