I grew up in Mumbai, India and moved to the US for my B.S. in Materials Engineering at UCLA. I continued my education at UCLA to get my M.S. in the same field.

Over the course of my studies, I spent summers teaching and tutoring high school students in India. During my Masters education, I acted as a mentor to incoming freshmen. I helped the students get accustomed to the transition from high school and college. I have taught algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, physics and science to middle-school, high school and college students. Of these, I am most passionate about teaching math. Growing up in a family of math teachers, I caught the math bug at a very early age. Practicing math and logic problems was a weekend hobby. I want to pass on this passion for math to other students.

I love helping students work through academic challenges and reach their full potential. That is why I am a very patient and encouraging tutor. I like to make math fun for the student and explain concepts in ways they can easily relate to.

In my spare time, I like to go hiking around Los Angeles. I am also a complete sports fanatic and support Liverpool FC, Patriots, Red Sox, and all UCLA teams.

I look forward to tutoring you!
