I am a retired chemistry instructor with approximately 30 years of teaching experience at both college and high school levels. In addition, I have 8 years of industrial experience and two years as a fellow in clinical chemistry in the Dept. of Pathology at the University of Texas Medical School. Most of my teaching experience is at the community college level and includes introductory chemistry, nursing chemistry, preparatory chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry as well as upper division and graduate level courses. I also have a few years teaching high school chemistry courses, physical science, and earth and space science. My college level teaching experience also includes teaching introductory geology. I do my best to identify the strengths and weaknesses of students so that limited and valuable tutoring time can be spent on the items needed for a student's success.
