Through completing my degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of New Mexico, I have had the opportunity to study extensively throughout Latin America. I have lived abroad for over three years with a focused study on Anthropology and Linguistics. During these travels, I have learned several languages and have taught English and Spanish to a diverse group of students, ranging from middle aged travelers to young public school students. I have a strong ability to help people understand the working functions of language, from grammar to pronunciation to vocabulary. Along with a skill in language learning, I have a strong ability in writing and have developed a passion for the art since early childhood. While I prefer the creative aspect of writing, I understand the intricacies of formal composition and have had many successes in academic and scholarship writing. I have studied in five different universities, and It is my belief that education is the light that illuminates the path to having heightened personal and professional freedom. In my free time I am an avid reader between rock climbing, hiking, swimming, and yoga practice.
