I graduated from the University of California, San Diego in June 2013, with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience.
I worked as an Undergraduate Tutor (TA) for UCSD's Division of Biological Sciences, tutoring students in General Biology. I have the most experience in tutoring Organismic, Evolutionary, and Ecological Biology, but I also have strong interests in Physiology, Exercise Biology, and Genetics. I've also had experience tutoring elementary school and middle school students in mathematics.
I find teaching and tutoring extremely rewarding, and I'm strongly considering becoming a science teacher. It feels great to be able to help students succeed in school and make a difference in their lives.
I am a big fan of sports. I had been on the rowing team in college and football and track teams in high school. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, video games, and Reddit. I am also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
