I specialize in LSAT test prep, but I am also qualified to tutor in several different areas. I received my Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies with a concentration on political science from UCLA. I am working towards obtaining my J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law, but I am currently taking time off from school. I have a very broad range of tutoring experience and ages that I have worked with. I helped tutor at middle schools in the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools program. In 2010, I tutored a special needs child at a educationally demanding private high school 5 days a week during his Freshman year in school. I also tutored the SAT for a varsity high school basketball team in Los Angeles to help them receive higher scores and gain more scholarship opportunities.
Since taking the LSAT, I have tutored dozens of students looking to attend law school. My teaching strategy revolves around simplifying the LSAT into different patterns and reasons of logic. But, I stress that the only way for those patterns of logic to stick in a student's head, is for the student to take as many practice tests as they can. With hard work to simplify the test, I assure all test takers that the LSAT will become a much less daunting task.
In my spare time I enjoy playing basketball and other sports, watching movies, hiking, relaxing at the beach, and playing with my dogs.
