As a Denver native, I graduated from the University of Colorado in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to the classroom, I have also gained experience in math and science from working in engineering and IT, and participating in numerous high-level math and science competitions. I began tutoring as both a side job and a way of volunteering in high school, I tutored part-time through college, and I continue to enjoy teaching now because I believe in both the importance of education, and the personal value in sharing the skills I've learned.

I tutor math at any level up through Calculus 3 and Linear Algebra, as well as Physics and Chemistry. Math and science have always been my favorite subjects to study and teach, because they are built on evidence and proof. My teaching philosophy is based on this- that if you know how something works, rather than just that it works, you will remember it better and be much more confident applying it. Additionally, I understand from experience that individual students learn in different ways, and that adapting my teaching style to each student is necessary. Finally, I've experienced many ways that math and science can be both useful and fun. Having goals for using knowledge, whether big or small, makes learning easier and progress more rewarding.

In my spare time, I have a lot of interests, including sports, games, outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, snowboarding, traveling, and reading.
