I am a medical doctor that graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2014. I went to college at the University of Pittsburgh (class of 2009) where I majored in Biology.
I have experience tutoring many subjects to students of all ages and backgrounds including test prep (ACT, SAT, PSAT), Physics, Algebra, Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology up through graduate and professional school level. My expertise is in Physics as I was the top student in a class of over 300 in college. During that time I tutored many students in university-level physics at the PITT Academic Resource Center. I have also tutored high school level Physics through the online program Tutor.com. I enjoy teaching Physics because it makes sense to me and also explains much of how everyday occurrences such as driving and flying. I understand that not everyone shares the same passions as me so I am very versatile in adjusting my teaching style to accommodate each student.
I also have experience tutoring classmates for MCAT preparation and can boast of one who just matched at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Urological Surgery and another who is studying at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
I am a fun-loving person who is easy to work with. I practice Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and compete in tournaments regularly. I am also a certified SCUBA diver and enjoy making home-made stuffed burgers.
