I'm a friendly 23 year old that recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a California teaching credential, signifying that I have displayed the ability and drive to teach professionally. I am a hardworking, positive, and eccentric team player. I always strive to improve myself, whether it is in school or in the workplace, and I urge my students to do the same! I believe that hard work and dedication can make a person successful. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have strong role models. From my parents, teachers, and tutors, I have been able to learn so much about academia, about myself, and about success. My old high school math teacher eventually became my mentor, as he is the reason that I decided to become a mathematics educator. Now, through Varsity Tutors, I hope I can positively impact others the way that my mentor has impacted me!
I enjoy math because, like with art, it can be seen and understood from multiple perspectives. Under my expertise, math problems will be seen as puzzles, ready to be solved and unlocked! It is without a doubt that I can help my students understand mathematics on a deeper level, and even develop a stronger appreciation for it!
Aside from tinkering with math problems and coming up with some of my own, I enjoy working out, swimming, and cycling in my free time. I also enjoy being outdoors and activities such as hiking and camping are among my favorites as well!
