My service is suited for undergraduate, high school, and middle school students. I have been working as an independent private tutor for over 7 years, from college until now. I have tutored students over the entirety of a course as well as few select topics, depending on the need. The age range I have most experience tutoring ranges from 14-25 years old. My current focus is mainly on the basic science classes.
I received a solid A in every class that I am tutoring and placed in the top 5% in each of them, including General Biology 1, General Biology 2, General Physics 1, General Physics 2, General Chemistry 1, General Chemistry 2, Organic Chemistry 1, Organic Chemistry 2.
My approach is to help students understand each topic conceptually so they can apply their knowledge to every scenario, as well as the overall subject. This helps improve test scores and helps lower the risk of panic on exam day. For many subject I also provide notes, diagrams, and other useful tools to complement the tutoring. I also consider myself a coach, guiding on how to properly take notes and how to effectively prepare for exams, as this will be essential moving forward.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from the Marshal School of Business at the University of Southern California in Business Administration. I also have a Post Baccalaureate level education in Biological Sciences as I am currently applying to medical school. Prior to switching careers, I was the Project Manager of Corporate Operations and Logistics at one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the country. Having switched careers, I know first hand how difficult these science classes can initially be. I am here to change that and I am confident my approach will help anyone improve his or her science IQ.
I am eager to help, and I am confident you will be content with your investment in me.
