I am a graduate of Brown University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on 19th-century literature. In my time at Brown, I worked as a teaching assistant and tutor for a local course in English as a Second Language, in which I was able to guide non-native speakers to higher levels of English comprehension, writing abilities, and test-taking.
As a tutor, I am most adept in the subjects of English, Literature, and European History, all of which I studied extensively in college. I am deeply passionate about education and the opportunities, both in and out of the classroom, that it affords those who pursue it. I am greatly appreciative of the care, compassion, diligence and insight that my own teachers, professors, and tutors have given me during the course of my education, and I am committed to embodying those traits in my own work as a tutor.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing fiction and screenplays, and tennis.
