I am a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and a minor in Marketing. While at USC, I marched around in the USC band playing the mellophone and I also was very involved with the greek life on campus. In my free time, I love to go hiking, camping and take walks with my black labrador retriever, Lucky.
Most recently, I have been working in education teaching math to 5th grade students. I loved teaching math so I decided to pursue my passion by getting a teaching credential that would allow be to teach math to middle school and high school students. Currently, I am a student at California State University Northridge, working towards achieving that goal by getting a secondary math credential.
When I work with students in math, I work to learn about my students' strengths to help them understand the necessary concepts. I also work to learn about their learning styles to teach them in ways that make sense to them. Often times, my love for math rubs off on my students.
