I graduated from UC San Diego with two Bachelor degrees in Bioengineering and Economics. After working in the life sciences industry for a couple of years doing research, I decided to apply to graduate school. Alongside the application cycle, I am excited about tutoring science and math subjects given my predilection for engineering.
As an undergraduate, I was a teaching assistant for the Economics Department where I taught lower and upper division sections along with hosting individual office hours. Herein I learned that the best method to convey complex concepts is through customized practice problems that increase in difficulty and the number of interrelated topics they test.
In addition to tutoring, I also volunteer at SundayFriends in San Jose where I work with low income families on a working alternative to charity.
