I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. I've been tutoring and teaching in various environments since I was in high school. I focus on math and science, from basic arithmetic to college level Calculus, Physics, and Engineering. My favorite subject to teach is Physics because I believe it provides a real world application of math that allows for a deeper understanding of both subjects. In addition to academic tutoring I have also instructed skiing, surfing, hang gliding, snorkeling, sailing, and rafting. I am excited to have relocated to Colorado where I can enjoy many of these hobbies in my free time. I believe that the same fundamental concepts apply to any form of teaching. The key is being able to communicate the question or lesson in a way that the student can understand.
