My passion for the sciences had landed me at Rutgers University-New Brunswick as an undergraduate. It was here where I concentrated my studies in Biology and Chemistry to focus on Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. After graduation, I entered into the pharmaceutical industry as a researcher and have stayed ever since. My pharmaceutical research career has included in depth study of Stem Cell Biochemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biomaterials, Cardiovascular Disease, Virology (HIV, Dengue and Hepatitis C), Protein & Enzyme Chemistry, and now, Oncology. For the past 15 years, I have been mentoring and teaching junior research scientists and upcoming students in the sciences. Doing this had been very gratifying.
My spare time is spent hiking, fishing, reading, and visiting museums, aquariums and zoos. I am a huge fan of college sports and spend a lot of time supporting the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, my alma mater.
