I am a student at Pasadena City College, studying electrical technology. Also, I have been a docent for eight years. I was a docent at the California Science Center from 2002 to 2004. I am currently a docent at the Griffith Observatory, I have held this position since 2006.
I began providing private tutoring services in the fall season of 2009; tutoring primarily in the subject of mathematics and in the physical sciences. My clients range from grade-school level to college level students.
My style of tutoring focuses on developing understanding and learning methods for an individual; but not on obtaining the correct answers to a specific problem set. I believe that everyone innately enjoys learning, however the academic process can be stressful which can make learning unpleasant. I hope to help students continue to find enjoyment in learning and to succeed academically.
