I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Currently, I am in the process of applying to medical school. My teaching philosophy is to provide the student with a comfortable learning atmosphere, where we can figure out how much the student knows and most importantly, where there are gaps in the student’s knowledge base. Once we accomplish this, it’s a simple matter of figuring out the best teaching method and angle to help the student fill in those gaps. Further, I firmly believe in helping my students develop into independent learners, equipping them with the proper learning skills to eventually be able to evaluate, deconstruct, and solve challenging problems independently.
For leisure, I enjoy hiking, camping, squash, martial arts, and reading classic literature.
