I have always believed that through education anything is possible. Moreover, with the right tutor, each student could reach his/her maximum potential. My passion for education led me to attend and recently graduate UC Berkeley with a Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Education. After graduating, I was accepted into the Teach for America Corps for the 2013 crop year; however, I decided to defer my acceptance until next year, so that I may begin my master program first. I am now a Master of Public Administration student at USC hoping to graduate by 2015. I have been both a private tutor and volunteer tutor through various non-profit programs, tutoring students from elementary school through college. My experience as a tutor has shown me that every child can reach success in academia if they are given enough time and effort. I am most passionate about math and English and believe that my work ethic, creativity, dedication and passion for teaching reflects upon my students and allows them to excel.
