Born and raised in San Jose, California, I just moved back to the area after graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from San Francisco State University. As a pre-med student, I’m currently studying research at UC Davis’s Surgical Bioengineering Lab. My inspiration for medicine first started with my love for science, specifically Human Anatomy, and therefore is my favorite of all the subjects that I tutor. In fact, I have two years of experience as a teacher’s assistant for undergraduates and post-baccalaureate students for the Human Anatomy class that even included a cadaver lab at my college. It is my great passion for Anatomy that I hope to become a surgeon one day. I once struggled with science subjects like Biology in high school and it wasn’t until I got to college that I truly excelled in these subjects. I would love to help my students by passing on the knowledge and tips that I wish I had learned sooner. I hope to inspire others to appreciate the sciences and show students that science is easier than one might think when taught with excitement and great passion!
