I am a Middle School Math teacher with a passion for LEARNING! My goal is to spread this love of learning to all of my students. I have found success spreading this love for learning to students who have little motivation for success, to gifted students who were previously bored with learning. I have worked as a tutor since I was in sixth grade, when I would go to primary schools to teach Kindergarteners how to read. I still love to teach students how to read and write. I have my RICA authorization for teaching reading. I also specialize in Math tutoring: from test prep, to help with Algebra, to the multiplication table. I work to create lessons that help the student be independent and have an intrinsic motivation for success in education. I graduated in three years, Summa Cum Laude, from Point Loma Nazarene University and I hold a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and two teaching credentials (Multiple Subject and Single Subject in Math). I have experience tutoring students from kindergarten to seniors in high school. I would love to be your next tutor!
In my free time I enjoy hiking, running, swimming, being outside, going to movies, and exploring this great city of Los Angeles.
