Currently I study Chemistry at the University of California Berkeley. My eventual goal is to teach high school Chemistry in the United States, Spain, Japan, and Italy. I have extensive experience tutoring, ranging from elementary students all the way to college students. My previous experiences in tutoring include both K-8 and high school math, writing, science (chemistry and biology), and history. At the undergraduate level, I was a volunteer tutor for chemistry and essay writing. In the last six months I have also had the pleasure of extending my tutoring services to foster care students in the San Francisco Unified School District. In addition to being a science major, I am also passionate about creative and essay writing! I am a voracious reader - books by Kurt Vonnegut, Richard Feynman, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Henry David Thoreau bring me tremendous joy. Deriving pleasure and creativity for my students in their writing is always a goal of mine. I have many passions in addition to tutoring– film, photography, skateboarding, basketball, and practicing my Japanese are only some of my favorite activities. My photography endeavors have spanned over six years, and I love exploring San Francisco with my friends while taking photographs. Recently, I have been learning to cook Barcelonan cuisine, having been inspired by close friend in the Berkeley study abroad program. My lenteja salad is not always perfect, but it sure is a blast to cook! It is my supreme pleasure to tutor, as I feel lucky to be able to instill genuine passion and love into students for the sciences, arts, and literature.
