I am a graduate of The Ohio State University, and I hold a B.S. in Astronomy and Physics. While I have done research on everything from the evolution of Jupiter's storms to the chemical composition of stars, one of my favorite parts of science is sharing how cool it is with students at all levels. I have always loved the problem-solving process that goes along with learning math and science, and I enjoy helping others learn to understand and excel in these subjects. I have previously taught science and math to students ranging from elementary school to university-level. This experience has given me broad experience with different learning styles, and I work to make sure that my students can find the study tools that help them the most. I also know that standardized tests can be stressful, and so I help students with strategies and study methods for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. In my free time, I love to read and play the piano. I am also relatively new to the Bay Area, so I have been enjoying the amazing California weather and exploring the great environments and cities here.
