I am currently in my final year at the University of Southern California, where I will earn my BS in Human Biology. I love all math and science, and I especially love tutoring in these subjects. In fact, I love math and science so much that I want to pursue a doctorate in Biomechanics where I can integrate them both! I have an extensive background in tutoring for algebra I & II, geometry, chemistry, and U.S. history. In the fall of 2012, I also dedicated 2 hrs/week teaching basic human biology to underpriveleged 4th graders at St. Raphael's school in LA. The experience was so empowering and rewarding that it has inspired me to pursue a career in academia once I complete graduate school.
During my time at USC, I was a full-time student-athlete competing in Cross Country and Track & Field. Being a NCAA student-athlete was easily the best decision I ever made as the experience taught me the value of teamwork, communication, and believing in myself and others. In addition, I was a 4-time designated PAC 10 All-Academic for my outstanding academic and athletic contributions (back when it was called the PAC 10, of course).
In my free time, I enjoy being with friends & family, reading, pilates, volunteering, and traveling. And finally, one odd hobby that I am especially passionate about is watching and closely following major and minor league baseball.
