I have a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics with a minor in English. Since graduating, I have served as a tutor for students of all ages and backgrounds in New York City; tutored adults in Charlotte, North Carolina preparing to take their naturalization exam to become United States citizens; and have also served as an exam coach for third graders preparing for their first standardized tests. While I tutor various subjects, I am most passionate about History, English, and Literature. My teaching philosophy is that everyone can learn. A quote by Ignacio Estrada summarizes it best, "If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." In my spare time, I enjoy attending boot camp, reading, cooking new recipes, and dining at new restaurants with my family.
