I am very enthusiastic about helping you or your child reach your learning goals this year! I am a Masters student at Georgetown University in the School of Foreign Service, where I study Refugee and Humanitarian Issues. I love English and History, and minored in the former in undergraduate at George Washington University (with a major in International Affairs.) My tutoring style is very flexible: I am always interested in trying new methods of memorization--from mnemonics to interactive games and creative activities--and appreciate that everyone learns differently. I received very high scores on the AP English, US History, European History, World History, and Psychology exams, and attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I like to make myself a constantly available resource to my students, and so I am usually free to meet on short notice, help edit essays and papers outside of our sessions, and give mentoring advice as well as college admissions guidance.
Thanks so much for your interest, and I hope that I can be of assistance to you this semester!
