I graduated from Yale with a degree in Film Studies and for the last few years worked in the film industry in various capacities. I grew up in The Woodlands (north of Houston) but am currently in LA. In college, I wrote for the Yale Daily News. Needless to say, writing is my passion. I particularly enjoy tutoring grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and in general the verbal sections of standardized tests. I can also tutor Spanish (with native fluency), as well as math, and look forward to preparing students for the ISEE. I know how daunting applying to college can be and enjoy being a second pair of eyes for college essays. My tutoring experience began in high school, volunteering for after-school programs for middle school students. In my spare time, I like taking photographs, cooking, rock climbing, and playing brain games.
