I am originally from Southern California, but I completed my undergraduate studies at University of California Berkeley in 2006. While studying there, I began tutoring for a local nonprofit working mostly with middle school and high school students. I tutored various subjects, including Math, Science, History, and English. In 2007 I returned to Southern California where I continued working with students. Most of the students I have worked with have needed help in Math and English, including Reading and Writing, but I continued to work with students in subjects such as History and some Science. As a tutor, my main goal is to have the students I am working with enjoy the subjects they are struggling with and master them.
I recently earned my J.D., graduating from Law School here in San Diego. I remain very interested in working with students to help them not only improve academically but also pursue their goals to graduate high school and attend college. In my free time I like to go to the gym and watch basketball and football. I also love to read, something I am once again picking up after three years of Law School. Currently, I am enjoying learning more about the beautiful city of San Diego.
