I have worked extensively with children of all ages in the past ten years, helping with homework, explaining concepts, and teaching lessons targeted to the individual students' specific needs. I love working with students and particularly enjoy that "Ah ha!" moment that kids have when they finally grasp a difficult concept. I am patient, resourceful, and friendly.
Since graduating from the University of Chicago with Honors in 2009, I have worked in the non-profit and healthcare industries. I am excited to be a part of the Varsity Tutors team and look forward to working with students to achieve their goals. My particular strengths include Writing, Grammar/Mechanics, LSAT prep, SAT prep, ISEE prep, SSAT prep, Elementary Reading and Math, and French language. On my own time, I enjoy cooking for friends and hiking with my dog.
