I am currently a medical student at Jefferson in Philadelphia, and enjoy tutoring students in the evenings and on weekends. I have two years of teaching SAT prep classes and SAT tutoring. I also have several years of individual MCAT tutoring. My strengths are in test prep as well as general high school subjects. I have also tutored elementary school students in Math and Reading, and have taught HIV education in rural Ghana. My teaching style incorporates the Socratic method, in which I ask key questions to elicit skills and provide a deeper understanding for my students.
I attended Duke University for undergraduate, then completed a post-baccalaureate degree at UCLA (working in the film industry in between), and currently study medicine at Jefferson Medical College. In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, camping and generally being outdoors. I am very energetic and sometimes funny!
