I received my Master's in English from Boston College, and then I moved back home to Atlanta. At BC I designed and taught a freshman writing course. My experience in teaching writing and English ranges from freshmen ELL students to PhDs looking for feedback on their dissertations. Whether you need help in the basics of grammar or ensuring longer pieces of writing fulfill their goals, I can help you.
I also have broad experience tutoring test prep. Knowing how to approach the ACT, SAT, and GRE can unlock your potential as a student, and I am ready to help you get there.
I am energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to meet you wherever your skill level is. I understand that understanding literature, writing essays, or preparing for standardized tests can be overwhelming, but every student is capable of learning tools that make those disciplines easier. If your child needs help understanding basic sentence construction or if you're hoping to get into the best universities in America, I would love to work with you.
In my spare time, I am a Food Network junkie and college football enthusiast. You might also see me on the sidelines of my brothers' lacrosse games or scouring used bookstores for first editions.
