I'm a senior engineering student at Rice University, studying Materials Science. On campus, my research focuses on nanomaterials and nanodevices, and it has taken me to Bremen, Germany and Beijing, China.
I tutor in middle and high school level math and science classes, focusing on understanding fundamental concepts through real world examples and building on that foundation. I also tutor in German, which I studied for 4 years before spending 6 months in northern Germany.
In my free time, I love participating in outdoor sports including cycling, hiking, rock climbing, and flag football. I also spend a lot of time cooking, doing graphic design/photography, and dancing (country/western, swing, and waltz).
